You can easily register your child using the ‘Registration’ form on our website. Once we have received the form, our General Manager will contact you personally to finalise the registration. Haven't had a tour yet? Please fill in the ‘Request a Tour’ form first. After the tour, we will contact you by phone within about a week to discuss your experience. If you wish to proceed with registration afterwards, you can complete the ‘Registration’ form.
At Little Guests Day Care, we offer full-day contracts with our opening hours of 07:30 – 18:30. You will always book 11 hours, regardless of what time you drop off or pick up your child. You can take out a contract starting from just one fixed day per week. At Little Guests After-School Care, we have two different childcare options: a fixed contract based on set days from when school finishes until our closing time of 18:30, and we also have our Little Flex Service for families who need occasional care. Please visit our Little Flex Service page for more information. All our contracts have a minimum duration of 6 months. However, flexibility is possible. Please contact us by phone and select the ‘office’ option to discuss the possibilities.
In the Netherlands, you may be able to make use of government childcare benefit. This is a contribution from the government towards the costs of childcare, depending on your income and the number of childcare hours per week. You can apply for the benefit via the Tax Administration. The amount of the benefit depends on your income and the costs of childcare.
At Little Guests, we work with a monthly direct debit. The monthly amount is visible in the contract. The first two months are automatically debited one month before the start, after which we will invoice monthly.
The direct debit takes place around the 27th of each month. If there are any changes to the childcare, such as extra days or hours, these will be communicated and adjusted in the direct debit for the following month.

At the moment, there is no waiting list at Little Guests, and you can often be seen straight away!
From the moment you sign the contract as parents, you can cancel free of charge up to one month before your start date. If you cancel the contract within a month of the start date, the first two months of care will be invoiced.
Contract terminations and amendments can be emailed to r.top@littleguests.nl. Contract cancellations can be made with one month's notice. All contract changes must be notified two months in advance due to the billing cycle running two months ahead. Changes can be granted based on availability.
The contract runs until the day your child turns 4. After that, it stops automatically. Your child can already attend primary school on their 4th birthday. Would you like to extend the contract because your child's birthday falls within a school holiday, for example? Please contact us in good time via r.top@littleguests.nl and we will be happy to look at the options together.
With an after-school care contract, we offer childcare after school hours. Depending on when school finishes, children are picked up by a childcare worker around that time. During school holidays and/or inset days, children are welcome for the whole day at the after-school care. The same times apply as for daycare: 07:30-18:30. This is only applicable to your contracted days. If, for example, an inset day falls outside your contracted day and you would still like childcare that day at Little Guests, please request an extra day via the Parent App. You can do this by using credit hours; select this option when requesting an extra day. If you no longer have any credit hours, please opt for a regular extra day.
An extra day will be carried over to monthly standard billing a month later. This extra day will be visible on this invoice.
No, there is no discount for a second or subsequent child. With a second child, parents will, in proportion, receive more childcare allowance via the Tax Office.
Each year, at the end of October, you will receive a notification from us regarding the rate adjustments for the upcoming calendar year. These adjustments are necessary to accommodate the rise in (labour) costs and inflation, while simultaneously ensuring healthy business operations.
At Little Guests, we understand that starting at a nursery or after-school club is a special step, for both children and for you as parents. That's why we've developed a carefully designed Customer Journey to make this transition as smooth as possible. Well before the first day of care, parents will receive all the necessary information in the form of a physical welcome pack, so you are well prepared.
Before starting, the Department Manager will personally contact you to discuss the settling-in period. During this initial welcoming phase, we gradually build up the care hours over the first three days, coordinated with your working days and times. This allows your child to settle in at a pace that suits them, and which aligns with your needs as parents. Following the settling-in period, there will be an evaluation meeting with the Department Manager. Together, we will review these first weeks and discuss any necessary adjustments, ensuring everything continues to meet your wishes.
At Little Guests, one of our core values is to take the worry off your hands. This means that as a parent, you don't have to concern yourself with many practical matters. We only ask you to pack a set of spare clothes for your child. We will take care of everything else that's needed, from nappies to dummies, from bottles to all food. This way, you can focus on other things, while we look after your child's comfort and care.
At Little Guests, we have deliberately opted for a layout that we call “lofts”, in order to create a homely atmosphere for the children. These lofts offer a safe, comfortable, and cosy environment in which the children can truly feel at home.
In total, we have four baby suites, divided between two smaller and two larger rooms. These suites accommodate children aged from 0 to 1 year. As soon as they outgrow this stage, they move to the Toddler Suites. We have three Toddler Suites, all of which are the same size, and here children aged from 1 to 2 years play.
After this, the children move on to the Toddler Lofts. Here too, we have three lofts, which are the same size, and the children remain in these lofts until they go to school.
We've consciously chosen this setup to ensure that each child receives appropriate care, attention, and activities tailored to their age group. Every child has a fixed home group, creating a familiar and safe environment in which they can develop.
The language of instruction at Little Guests is Dutch. We strive to establish a bilingual after-school care service first, after which we would also like to open a bilingual group for 0-4 year olds in the future. We are very pleased to welcome many families from different cultures at Little Guests. Our care for the children and ensuring they feel safe and secure is our top priority. For children who do not speak Dutch, we offer a transition period during which we translate Dutch into English. For parents, all general communication will take place in both English and Dutch.
At Little Guests, we offer an exceptional daycare and out-of-school club, featuring multiple extra activity spaces, such as a gymnasium, laboratory, snooze rooms, a children's cooking café, a creative attic, and a theatre. This enables us to organise a wealth of activities, both inside and outside our premises, which are surrounded by several gardens. Here, we can arrange (theme-related) activities for the children, ensuring there's always plenty to do.
If we decide to go on an outing with the children, parents will be informed of this in the morning. This way, they will always be kept up to date with the day's plans.
Here at Little Guests, we meticulously track your child's development using our child monitoring system. Our pedagogical professionals have extensive experience in observing and guiding children's development. They observe your child daily during care moments, playtime, and free play, ensuring their development is always visible.
The mentor keeps records of these observations in a digital system and discusses progress with you annually in a personal meeting. Should any concerns arise, we will involve you directly and collaboratively determine the best support. Parents can request a meeting at any time to discuss their child's development. Additionally, there is of course opportunity for this during handover periods.
At Little Guests, the safety, health, and development of children are paramount. We work according to strict safety and quality guidelines, continuously invest in our staff, and comply with all legal requirements for childcare.

At Little Guests, the health and well-being of every child are paramount. We strive to provide an environment where children can develop to their fullest, both physically and mentally. An essential part of healthy development is protecting children from diseases that can be prevented through vaccinations. We therefore believe in the Dutch vaccination policy, which aims to protect the health of children and society. This policy helps to prevent serious diseases, ensuring that all children can grow up in the best possible conditions. In doing so, we will always follow the legislation regarding childcare and vaccinations.
At Little Guests, we encourage parents to follow the National Immunisation Programme to protect the health of their children and others. We ask parents to voluntarily provide information about their children's vaccination status so that we can take appropriate measures in the event of an outbreak of an infectious disease. We respect parents' privacy and handle this information with strict confidentiality.
In the event of an outbreak of an infectious disease, we will consult with the Municipal Health Service (GGD) and other stakeholders to assess what measures are necessary to safeguard the health of all children.
The number of pedagogical professionals working in a loft depends on the size of the loft and the number of children in the group. The size of the loft determines the maximum number of children that can be present, and based on that number, the required number of pedagogical professionals is assigned, as stipulated by law. This ensures that each child receives the appropriate care and attention, in accordance with the legal staff-to-child ratio.

Our pedagogical staff are well-trained and qualified according to Dutch legislation. They hold a diploma in the field of pedagogical work or social work. The team has a combination of MBO-4 and HBO (higher professional education) qualifications in various fields such as; Social Work or Education.
At Little Guests, we continuously invest in the development of our employees. Our pedagogical professionals follow training courses and professional development, and participate in regular evaluation, development, and feedback discussions. In addition, all childcare locations are inspected by the GGD (General Municipal Health Service) to ensure quality and compliance with laws and regulations.
